While researching and peering out into the future, the MIT Supply Chain 2020 Project identified six major factors that will have significant and "certain" impacts on future supply chains. While fraught with "uncertainty," each will challenge today’s and tomorrow’s future managers to achieve excellence regardless of what comes to fruition. Scenario planning methodologies can help them do this.

Attendees of this session will learn:

  • the six major factors that they need to track over time;
  • how each factor might impact future supply chains; and
  • how scenario planning can be leveraged to help ensure a bright successful future, whatever the future holds
